I study how games become businesses, media channels, and virtual economies.

ROLearn began as a set of scripts for answering a question nobody could answer cleanly: what is actually happening inside a game economy, in numbers a business can act on. It grew into a collection pipeline that tracks concurrent players, catalogue prices, and earned media across eight platforms, and into products used by developers, studios, and brand teams.

This publication is the research arm of that work. It exists because the most useful findings in the pipeline were the ones nobody was going to buy a subscription to see: how long an activation holds attention, what a virtual item is worth and why, which retention curves are normal and which are a warning. Those belong in public, with the method attached.

The commitment on every piece is the same one the software makes: show the sample, show the window, show the method, and say what would make the number wrong.
