Advertising disclosure

How this is funded

Three sources, in order of size:

1. ROLearn, the software business.This publication is owned and funded by ROLearn. Research published here is also a demonstration of what ROLearn's data can do, which is an honest description of the incentive.
2. Programmatic advertising.Display advertising served by Google AdSense. We do not choose the individual advertisers; Google's systems do, based on the page and the reader.
3. Direct placements and sponsorships, sold by us to companies that want to reach this audience. These are labelled.

What advertisers get

• A clearly marked position on the page, in a fixed set of slots.
• Audience-level reporting: impressions and clicks. Never data identifying a reader.
• For a direct sponsorship, a named credit and, if agreed, a piece labelled Paid content at the top.

What advertisers never get

• Advance sight of a piece that mentions them.
• Any influence over a finding, a ranking, a score, or a chart.
• Removal of an unflattering piece, at any price.
• Placement inside the research, data brief, case study, or report sections. Paid work never appears under a label that implies independent research.
• Reader-level data, email addresses, or newsletter subscriber information.

Labelling

Every advertising unit on this site carries the word Advertisement above it. Sponsored articles carry a Paid content banner above the headline naming the advertiser, and they are excluded from the research sections, the research feeds, and the trackers.

Affiliate links, if we ever use them, will be disclosed in the piece that contains them. Today there are none.

Conflicts with the product business

Some companies written about here are ROLearn customers, prospects, or partners. That relationship is disclosed inside any piece where it applies, under the editorial standards. Being a customer earns no coverage, and refusing to be one costs none.

Rates, formats and audience data: advertising@rolearn.dev. We do not accept placements from companies whose product cannot be described accurately on this site, and we reserve the right to decline any campaign without explanation.
